"GAAMMMMAAAA!!!!"

Mom came to visit us recently and before she got here we would ask Kate, "Who's coming next week?" to which she would ecstatically reply "GAAMMMMAAAA!!!" She was so excited:)

What grandma comes without presents? Not this one! Here's Kate checking out her new Sesame Street jammies from Gamma and LOVING them!
Jack got some adorable little man clothes too.
Her Gamma is finally here!
She loves Gamma's bed, an air mattress on the floor in her room. What kid wouldn't love that right:)
Adorable!:)
LOVES her jammies, her Gamma, and Gamma's bed. Time to party folks!:)
Jumping around in her new jammies on Gamma's bed.
Gamma is so much fun!:)

Loves!

Messy.
Grandma giving Jack his first mash potatoes.
Bath time.We didn't do much around here. Mom was here just to see us and the kids, so she didn't care if we just hung out. Isn't that just one of the great things about Moms? They just love to be with us and we just love the comfort and familiarity of being with them:)

We did make it out to her favorite place, St. Simons Island. Got some coffee and I showed her my favorite little southern neighborhood. Then we walked around some quaint little shops. So fun:)

Grandma "putting Kate to bed". I peeked in to see how things were going and behold... It appears Kate had put Gamma to bed insteaed! :) ha ha ha. She definitely took advantage of Grandma being here, and suckered her way into staying up well past her bed time many a nights, but I guess thats all part of the fun of grandparents right:) You know, getting away with murder until they leave:) ha ha.
While Hubs and I escaped to Jacksonville for a night to ourselves, grandma stayed home with the babies. Jack was sick, but he was in the best hands, second only to Mommy's. Grandma held him and gave him lots of loves and used her natural remedies to help him get better.
Kate playing with the sugars at a BBQ place that we took Mom too.
My Mom is so beautiful:)

Can't have enough pics of special times with special people:)Mom's time here went by much to quickly and before we knew it, it was time for her to leave. The next day the kids and I drove her out to Jacksonville to do some shopping and then drop her at the airport, but not before we stopped for lunch at Pineara Bread. I finally found our way there. I could see it from the freeway but couldn't figure out how to get there with the exits and stuff and I wanted her to try it so bad.... Giving up, we decided to drive a little further up the road to see if we could find something else, and DUH that was the way to Pineara Bread! "Slapping the forehead" but so happy we found the way and Mom got to experience the deliciousness of the Mediterranean Sandwich. Yummy:)
