Bubba and Sweeters Notes

Bauskas is cruising on furniture now, walking a little holding onto our hands. Has 5 teeth. Says "Mama ma ma ma" now, but not sure if he is actually referring to me, although he MIGHT be:) He also takes toys from his sister now. Arches his back and throws a fit when he doesn't get his way. Oh and Grandpa taught him to wave. He's as smiley, adorable, and shreiky as ever. LOVE da little man!:)

SWEETERS learned to say my name from her little friend who was saying "Wucy Wucy Wucy..." over and over again. At first she would say it a bunch but she didn't seem to know what it meant. She was just copying him. But yesterday she called me by it. I told her I am "mommy" to her and Bubbason, and Lucy to everyone else:) She also says "What? What? what?" over and over again when I call her. To which I reply, "You heard me, now come here! Right NOW!" to which she says "What!?" as she is making her way, eventually, to me.... frustrating but hilarious:) ha ha

Bauskas Cruising

Bauskas is now pulling himself up and cruising along the furniture. The other day it was like he was practicing getting up and then down because he would go back and forth between pulling himself up, and then pausing and slowly falling down on his bum.... So cute:) He loves to climb under Grandma and Grandpa's coffee table and under the high chair too. Gotta get this boy some climbing toys:)

Bauskas Standing & Sitting

More Notes: Jack can now pull himself up to stand and will be cruising in no time:) He can go from me to the coffee table or visa versa:)

He can also go from laying down to sitting up by himself now too; and from sitting to tummy...

He is still rockin' the army crawl. He is SO FAST! He has crawled a few steps on his actual knees and hands but thats about it. He always goes back to the army way. I guess he likes it better. His jeans are worn in the legs/knees because of it:)

Bauskas Notes

Notes for me to remember: So Jack got his second tooth, in March. It was on the Bottom. He got his 3rd tooth...uhhh... Beginning of April I think. it was his right, the one next to the front tooth. His two front teeth are sprouting right now. He has been teething, constipated, and sick all at the same time this week. Poor little guy.

Kisses From Bubbason

Bauskas LEANED IN and gave me kisses for the first time today! I asked him two more times after the first time just to see if he actually was doing it on purpose:) He was! SOOOOO cute!:)

Over Valentines weekend we took a trip to Charleston to see some friends and Pick up a box of mementos Patrick had left behind, and then to Lynchburg VA to see some friends and check out Liberty.

Just like Brad Pit in Oceans 11, hottie, always eating:) Gotta love road trips and fast food!

We headed up to Lynchburga VA to see some friends, and check out Liberty. I can't believe how awesome it is now! So cool! Here is a picture of the campus, but not very good because of all the white stuff. This is the weekend the east coast had crazy snow storms. We got caught in it on the way to the first part of our trip in Charleston. We felt right at home since it was like snow in Alaska.

Sweeters putting her baby to sleep in the hotel... She LOVES her back rubbed at night. "Rub-b-b-b-b-b-ack" is what she says. So she is rubbing her babies back. How sweet:)

Little Mommy Like Mommy

Last night Kate was feeding her baby, LIKE mommy feeds Jack. Ha ha ha. All on her own, she sat herself on the couch, put my nursing pillow in her lap, and started feeding her baby. At one point she even lifted her shirt. Baby was eating from the side of her tummy. Then she switched sides. Ha ha ha. Then she wrapped her baby in one of Jack's blankets and laid her down:) Adorable little mommy!:)

Post Valentine

I know it is past Valentines Day, but I wanted to note this to have it in our blog history....

A picture is worth a thousand words... I love this man with all of my heart and am honored and amazed that he picked me:) It has been 6 years this Valentines Day since he flew across the country and showed up on the campus of Christian Heritage College to SURPRISE me for Valentines Day... That he did:) What a STUD:) We will have been married 5 years this March and it has felt like 5 minutes:) Love you my Huuuubs:)
