Occasionally, we do manage to get up and waddle over to key spots on the track to cheer for our athletes, oorrrrrr we just cheer from where we are... Yeah... I know... no coach of the year awards coming our way, but we were good mommies out there:)
Kate, that's Gavin's waterbottle...
Uncle Ron (AKA Calvin's Dad and High Jump Coach, and my highschool bball coach, and now literal family through Shaun married to Jaime....) having a talk with Kate about staying off the pavement where the high jumpers are jumping... She has the whole center field of the track to play on, but where does she want to go. That's right, the one place she can't.... Spiritual implications... hmmm.... Uncle Ron loves her to pieces and it is cute watching them together:)
How much apple can I get in my mouth, suck the juice out of, and then spit out?
Wandering WAY off, no fear, while their mommies watch from a distance.... eventually going to get them because they probably weren't hearing or listening to commands to come back, or they were just taking WAY to long:)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, big and pregnant... We KNOW. We didn't have a ton of kids on the team this season, and Jr. High track is pretty chill anyways.... The Lord blessed us with GORGEOUS weather this year, every meet was BEAUTIFUL! I even got a tan!:) In Alaska track weather can be brutal, so we were very happy with this seasons SUN SUN SUN!
So cool in mommies shades! Love the face she makes trying to keep them on:)
All tuckered out on the way home... What a great, long, sunny day! Mommy and Amanda are wiped out too....
