Kate is a champ! She did so good and even fell asleep in it at the end:)
So that night we set out for an actual hike on the Turnagain Arm Trail.

Our hike was cut short by a mama bear and her two cubs. In fairness, we were warned from the beginning by a note that somone had left on a box for other hikers, saying that the bears had been spotted on the trail earlier that day.
We had decided to proceed with caution anyways. Patrick was on the look out and spotted them about two miles into the hike. So, we turned around and went back. Still a nice hike. The smell of the trail is so good! Welcome summer!
