Linkin Logs & Learning to Crawl...

I was playing stamps with Kate and I banged them together. Then she banged hers together too! She copied me! All of you should know that she is BRILLIANT! Then she banged her stamp on my stamp. So cute! I tried to take a picture of us playing and clapping our stamps, but she was completely distracted and mesmerized by the camera's flashing light, so this is me cheesin' it up...

Yesterday afternoon we had a cook out at Mom's and Dad's, and sat around visiting... Busted out the Linkin' Logs. See me building a house? See Bro eyeing my building supplies? Doesn't take a rocket scientist to guess what happens next. I went to set my camera up to take a picture of us playing. Came back. Where is my house? Quickly survey my surroundings. Hey! Bro. is building away and he STOLE all my linkin' logs! Blast! No. There was not enough for everyone to play because there were not enough BIG logs... I got him back (yeah right) by throwing some pieces at him and calling him a name. Ha ha:) To be fair, they are HIS linkin' logs. He and our cousin Doug used to play with them when they were boys. Such fun!:) I want to get some... Uh, for Kate.

Kate is well on her way to crawling. Later that night I caught her lifting herself up on her hands and toes... Yeah, 100 pictures later:) ha ha ha... Check her out:)

As for me, I am living my dream married to the most wonderful man in the world. God is so faithful and blessed me above and beyond with Hubs and our children and our life together. I could not ask for or imagine more. My cup overflows. These days I stay very busy with the children. I also enjoy doing a Bible study and some coaching of track or basketball every once in a while. Just for me? I like to run, scrapbook, sew, give myself a pedicure, read, shop, and hang with my Honey or my girls . Coffee keeps me going, as the days fly by faster and faster all the time. I have also recently gotten to the age where I am realizing that I’m getting old, and it continually baffles me. Ha ha☺

Sweeters is two and a half now, going on 16. She recently got her first hair cut and her toes painted (just for fun). She loves “cow milk”, Cinderella, purses, lip gloss, and shoes (heels), and anything with sugar in it. She loves singing songs and coloring. She is an excellent little mommy and takes good care of her dollies. Her vocabulary is ever expanding and she is learning to write her name. She cracks us up with her antics all the time. She is of course totally brilliant, says Mommy and Daddy. She also loves to build with her blocks and wants a kitty for her birthday, just like Daisy Duck in her story book. Lucky for us she wants it to be a toy kitty, not a real kitty.

Bauskas is one now and such a big boy. He is taking steps and even initiating them on his own now, but not quite walking yet. We recently found out he needs glasses and will be getting them soon. He’s still a shrieker when he wants something, especially if his sister is holding it. His laugh is infectious. He will climb anything and he goes down the slide by himself on his tummy. He loves to get into my lotion basket and “color” (eat crayons) with sister when he can get away with it. He is quite the handsome, bouncy, busy little man.
