Thrills in the Ordinary

She recently loves to haul the broom around and "sweep". It is so delightful and amazing watching her figure out and try to use things in their proper way, just by having observed Mommy or Daddy doing the same over time... She is SO brilliant!
She's a little awkward in maneuvering it with the big giant stick and all, which makes it all the more adorable. She tries to sweep by moving it back and forth a little, but mostly she bounces it up and down...
Aaaahhhh... Spring is creeping up. The days are getting longer, the sky brighter, and the temperatures warmer. The onset of lazy summer days is approaching. I can feel it when the sun beams brightly through our living room windows, all is quiet except maybe the hum of the dishwasher or dryer doing their job. The TV is off and there is plenty to read, or fall asleep reading...
Dragging and hauling it behind her is fun too.
